Production process

A 3D production process built around your products

Align the source material, production tasks and review responsibilities before expanding a product range. Each handoff follows the agreed scope.

From source material to accepted deliverables

Seven Studio coordinates the production work. Your product owner supplies references and decisions; your platform team confirms implementation requirements.

Intake and scope

We review available CAD, existing models and references, then define products, outputs, responsibilities and milestones.

Your contribution

Share a product list, representative files, desired outputs and timing context.

Representative sample

Where useful, scope a sample product to agree geometry, materials, naming and variant structure before wider production.

Your contribution

Confirm the sample and identify differences across the remaining range.

Production preparation and execution

We prepare the agreed geometry, UVs, materials and variants, plus rendering work where included.

Your contribution

Resolve product questions and consolidate feedback through the agreed contact.

Specialist review

The responsible specialist reviews the work against the approved references and acceptance criteria. Destination checks are defined by the project scope.

Your contribution

Provide destination requirements; your implementation team supports agreed import checks.

Client acceptance and handoff

We present deliverables for the agreed review rounds and hand over accepted files with the scoped documentation.

Your contribution

Confirm acceptance against the brief. Changes to products or outputs may need a revised scope.

Batch expansion

Use the accepted sample and product structure to scope the next batch. Agree resourcing and cadence separately for ongoing work.

Your contribution

Prioritize the next products, confirm new variants and flag changes to the destination.

Define the checks and handoff

Visual review, destination testing and software implementation have different responsibilities. Identify what is included before production starts.

Asset and image requirements

Agree geometry, materials, variant naming, image views and file formats for the intended use.

Destination and implementation scope

Name the target platform, version and import requirements. Storefront logic, integrations and launch support need an explicit scope.

Production process questions

When can production start?

Agree a start date after reviewing the scope, source readiness, reviewer availability and production capacity. Milestones depend on those inputs.

Do we need a sample first?

A representative sample can help establish geometry, materials and variant rules. Whether it is needed, and its deliverables, are agreed during scoping.

Which formats and platform checks are included?

Confirm the required formats, target platform and versions in the brief. Import checks and performance testing are included only where agreed.

How are revisions and new requirements handled?

Agree the review rounds, decision makers and acceptance criteria before work starts. Additional variants or changed requirements may affect the quote and schedule.
